Default no big deal

You know I’m an pve person and I stopped to think about the way things are going, and you know even though that this point it looks like GW will just be another fantasy based counter strike within the next 6 months at the present rate of patching, who am I to complain. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of this game. I probably won't by the expansion if things keep going in the direction they are but hey, A-Net as decided which side its on and that’s good, PvP is great, I just don't see it holding my longer than a few months. Again I got my moneys worth out of GW, I’ll finish up my last character and move on, D&D looks like it will have a good storyline have fun capturing each others flags and calling each other names.

So you'd like the game to add another 80 levels? I'm confused here. Do you want this to be the next Maple Story or something?

Looks like one happy customer to me.
This game isn't for everyone, and it's refreshing to see someone who isn't bitter about that.

This was a more mature post than the mass amount of others there are. Props to you, Stur.

I finally got my first elite skill today thanks to the new SoC system, I love the gag of Dwarven ale, and though I am a little sad to see some farming go, I do it for fun and am never really good at it anyway, I'm glad to see them cutting down on it.

This was the best update for me so far, aside from the rune traders who at this time are fluctuating greatly and setting up some severely high prices on major runes [15k+ on some o_O;] I still love it alot, I'm so happy I got my first Elite!

I got my money out of this game and much more so far.

Yes, very mature. You fell back on one of the pithiest and most overused metaphors that exists on these forums, and washed it down with some good old fashioned thinly-veiled insults.

Yeah, me too. Considering "the way it was", I never had to spend a minute in PvE if I didn't want to. Too bad you guys had to show up.

You make comments like this and you mock HIM for not being mature? You need to take a look at yourself.

That was a lament. When I mock, you'll know it.

This is neither better nor worse than the others who said the game was messed up badly due to grind and offered solutions on how to fix it, just different approaches. The other was dissatisfaction and willingness to fight for change. This is dissastisfaction and resignation of defeat (that the old ways are going away). I hardly see why stur should be praised or condemned.

I do not understand you at all and your post and ideas of how a game plays are completely mind boggiling.

Honestly how does making items unlock easier for PvP hurt your PvE experience?

If you haven't noticed 90% of Anet content is in PvE.

I just dont get it.

OMG PvP players might have some fun, I quit?

wtf

WTF

How does my ability to play a complete PvP game destroy his experience?

Its like playing basketball alone and being mad other people are playing eachother and having fun... but in this case you don't even see the other people..

Its like, wtf.....

OMG someone out there doesnt have to play PvE 3000 hours to play what they want, omg.

seriously someone explain how unlocking things hurts PvE gameplay?

OMG people dont have to farm 300 hours in riverside and sanctum now? Wtf happened to my game! lolz seriously......

Are you guys just item collectors? Progress quest is a nice game you can try out.

I see your point, and it seriously made me reassess my position. But you must realize that the others who offer "improvements" are really just whining, complaining, and really are just being rude and irrational. I didn't praise Stur on his position, I was praising him in the manner in which he did it. He was polite (basically), and didn't bash the Devs. He just saw where their priorities are and accepted it. If he had argued (in the same fairly-polite and coherent fashion), it would be just as comendable

Also one note.

GW design:

Can you?

PVE Without PVPing, YES.

PVP without PVE, YES BUT YOU WILL SUCK

PVP With 150 hours of PvE, YES BUT WITH 1 TYPE OF CHARACTER

PVP with 1000 hours of PVE, YES ON AN ALMOST FAIR SETTING

---------hmmmmm

yes PVE is doomed because people 'MIGHT' be able to not have to play it 1000 hours to compete in PvP.

How does this affect you....

Maybe if it was like, OMG YOU MUST WIN HOH 10 times to play PVE, you might cry ....

but its like, OMG NOOOOOOOOOOO to the guy at mcdonalds when he asks "do you want it supersized", its not even required.

lol, Omg hey if you want to play pvp it will be easier and more fair, "ZOMG NO THIS IS FANTASY CS NOW!!!!! NOW I WILL NOT ENJOY PVE, EVEN THOUGH PVP DOES NOT AFFECT MY NUB BUTT!"
